Why we love the Trump Children
When Ivanka Trump gave the speech at the RNC, I was so impressed and so proud of her. You see I was a daddy’s girl too and all of my life I wanted to please him but I was very strong willed as a child, and still am. What I find so beautiful is that Mr. Trump’s children have been through the pain of divorce, division and worked through it. Mr. Trump does not claim to be God Jr. nor is he. He is human like the rest of us. All of us had or if you’re are lucky, still have a father. He is a man who has his failures, prejudices, shortcoming, strengths, and has done his best. Remember he is your human earthly father, not your perfect heavenly Father who is God YHWH, the Holy One of Israel. Trump’s children realize that. They have learned to forgive their father for not being perfect, and as a result have moved towards spiritual and emotional wholeness and have a healthy relationship with him. They’re not bitter but better people because of their pain and sorrows. Being rich does not make one immune from the pain and sorrows of divorce, death, breakups nor disappointments. They know there is power in placing one’s past behind. His children have strong biblical foundations and faith as well. His beautiful daughter Ivanka has embraced Judaism and married to an amazingly great Jewish man Jared Kushner and they have three beautiful children. Donald Jr. is married to a beauty and he and his wife have five children. He has displayed his faith as a Good Samaritan when he recently helped pushed a black woman’s car off the road while on the campaign trail in Arizona. Eric the youngest from his marriage to Ivana his first wife is also married to a Jewish woman. His oldest children are truly a reflection of being “grafted-in” per Romans 11:17. His younger daughter Tiffany whom he shared with his second wife Marla did very well at the RNC, she has gotten her degree, the future looks promising for her. Last but not least, there is Baron, his youngest son from his wife Melania. According to his beautiful wife, both father and son admire each other. Mr. Trump is a blessed man indeed. Psalm 127:3-5 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.” The preceding Bible verse couldn’t be more fitting describing Mr. Trump’s offspring. For the sake of space, I will share about Ivanka as I admire her greatly.
Ivanka is an amazing woman of God. In fact, to me she is the embodiment of the Proverbs 31 woman. She recently penned a book “Women who Work.” I can’t wait to read it. I subscribe to her emails I love the tips on parenting, her “work hacks” and so many other interesting articles she shares for empowering working mothers. Proverbs 31 describes the working woman shoes noble character is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her. She is industrious, powerful, a decision maker who makes wise choices. She makes great business decisions. She even extends her arms to the poor. The Proverbs 31 woman is strong, godly and speaks with wisdom and faithfulness. She is not idle, but hardworking. In Ivanka’s case, even her father praises her, not just her husband. She has honored per parents, always speaks highly of them following the commandment in Exodus 20:12 of Honoring your father and mother. She has even gone as far being complimentary about her father’s wife Melania and what an amazing mother she is, and the great choice she has made in choosing to be a full time parent, as her husband travels constantly since his decision to run for the Presidency and serve his country.
